Packaging EPR deadlines: every reporting date in one place

Last updated: October 22, 2026

In short

The next hard date for most producers is May 31, 2027, when annual supply reports are due in Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Oregon, Colorado, and California. Before that, Minnesota producers need brand information added to their CAA registration by December 8, 2026, Quebec's first 2027 quarterly payment lands January 31, 2027, and California's program fees begin in January 2027. Canada's Federal Plastics Registry Phase 1 report for 2026 data is due September 29, 2027. Three programs (Yukon, Maryland, Washington) have not published their next producer reporting dates yet. This page is refreshed as dates are confirmed. This is general information, not advice about your company: confirm every deadline with each program or PRO before acting, because dates can change.

How to read this page

Missed a deadline?

Register late rather than never. The PROs have onboarding processes for late joiners, and voluntary disclosure routinely draws lighter treatment than being caught unregistered. If you are unsure where you stand in any of these 16 jurisdictions, that is exactly what our free check is for.
